Gary McEachern Memorial Scholarship Fund established with the Community Foundation of Greater Butler County. This scholarship is intended for those who have participated in the Youth Leadership Butler program. Youth Nominations being accepted?nominations will be accepted for Butler County Public schools to apply for the 2010 Youth Leadership Butler program. Nominees must currently be sophomores in high school and, if selected, will participate in the fall of their junior year. Please send your nomination, along with contact information to leadershipbutler@sbcglobal.net. Please put ?Youth Leadership Butler nomination? in the subject line.
Adult nominations are now being accepted?nominees must live and/or work in Butler County. Anyone fitting that criteria can be nominated to the Leadership Butler adult program. The Leadership Butler Board of Trustees asks those placing nominations to inform the person about the commitment and the importance of following through with their application. If more information is needed by the nominee, they can contact the Leadership Butler office by email of phone.
2nd Annual Leadership Butler Live Auction: May 8th will be the 2nd Annual Live Auction to benefit the programs of Leadership Butler. This event helps fund scholarships, community events, community awareness activities and much more. The Live Auction will be held at the Boot Scootin? Barn (www.fultonvalleyfarms.com) Tickets will be $25 each or 2 for $40 ? this includes a meal and some entertainment. You are all invited. Contact the LB office for more information.
