Executive Board of Trustees
Leadership Butler, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), not for profit organization. LB works closely with all facets within Butler County but is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of eleven voting members, and 2 ex officio members - the Butler County Economic Development Director and the Executive Director of LB. Funds to support the programs are requested each year through Butler County, each school district in the County, a liquor tax through the cities of Augusta and El Dorado, and various grants through the Community Foundation of Greater Butler County, as well as the Kansas Health Foundation. Sponsorships are obtained through many businesses, individuals and LB alumni association members.
Executive Director Becky S. Wolfe
Becky has been the Executive Director of Leadership Butler since 1993. As part of Becky's duties, she is responsible for taking care of the day
to day operations of LB, scheduling and communication, and bookeeping for the organization. Becky is a part time employee of the organization and
is directly responsible for the progams success thus far. When she is not working (officially), she enjoys spending time with her four children,
scrapbooking and working on programs such as Youth Leadership Butler.
Becky came to Kansas in 1986 from Nebraska. She began working for an insurance company then took a job with the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce in 1989. In 1994, Becky applied and was offered the job of Administrative Assistant to Leadership Butler and in 1998 that position became Executive Director. Becky and her husband Mitch have owned Automotive Specialists in El Dorado since 1991 and they have 4 children - Matt, Daniel, Katarina and Adam.
